（中外新闻社 中外新闻网记者 刘登臣）5月8日，为纪念卫国战争胜利77周年，俄罗斯驻华大使馆在北京举行“不朽军团”游行活动。联合国国际合作协调局副局长、中外新闻社总裁韦燕，中外新闻社执行社长刘登臣等应邀出席俄罗斯庆祝伟大的卫国战争胜利77周年北京活动，见证百余名中俄各界人士齐聚一堂，共同追忆烽火岁月，致敬曾英勇作战共同抗击德国法西斯和日本军国主义，为解放苏联、欧洲和中国献出生命的革命先辈。
On May 8, the Russian Embassy in Beijing held the "Immortal Regiment" parade to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. In the square of the Russian Embassy, a number of descendants of heroic martyrs dressed in Soviet uniforms, holding the flag of the Soviet Red Army and photos of their relatives and friends who participated in the Great Patriotic War, marched in procession to the resounding Russian songs and said loudly "Ula (long live)" in Russian to remember the glory of the great victory achieved by the two peoples together.

The event started at 10:10 am, the Russian Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Andrey Denisov delivered a speech. He said: “We are here with you today is a testament to remember the unforgettable history, which is especially important in the 21st century and becomes more and more important every year. The memory of those who are alive today was given by our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, and we should pass it on to the future generations and never forget this tradition.”

To mark the 77th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russia will hold a Victory Day Military Parade on May 9th in Red Square in the Russian capital, Moscow.
