(中外新闻社 中外新闻网记者 张珈闻)11月19日,中外新闻社总裁韦燕女士率大使俱乐部成员前往广东考察。首站广东汕头市,参观最大规模的木制雕塑,值得一提的是:11月9日,在吉尼斯世界纪录认证官及公信人员见证下,以4641件古名木木雕展览成功挑战日本保持的4279件原吉尼斯世界纪录,汕头市粤东博览中心的珍奇昌盛红木博览园的艺术品,被认定为“最大规模的木制雕塑展示”,并获颁发证书,这对提升中国文化软实力、开拓国际文化市场,让中华文化得到更广泛的国际传播发挥重要作用。
On November 19, Mrs. Wei Yan, President of Home and Abroad News Press, led members of the Ambassador’s Club to Guangdong for an inspirational tour. The first stop in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, was to visit the world’s largest wooden sculpture collections. It is worth mentioning that on November 9th, witnessed by the Guinness World Records certification officer and public trust personnel, the collection successfully challenged the original Guinness World Record of 4279 pieces held by Japan with 4641 pieces of ancient and famous woodcarvingsculptures. The artworks of ZhengqiChengsheng Wood Expo Park in Shantou Exhibition Center were recognized as "the largest scale of wooden sculptures" in the world. This Guinness certificate played an important role in enhancing the soft power of Chinese culture, opening up the international cultural market, and making Chinese culture more popular in the international community.

During the visit, Mrs. Wu Xiuqi and Mr. Fang Limin, the founders of ZhengqiChengsheng Wood Expo Park, displayed the Guinness world record certificate, which was witnessed by foreign diplomats and guests.
中国潮汕木雕艺术素有“海滨邹鲁”之称,一千多年前,潮汕先祖发现了木头的温和与生命力,潮州木雕始于唐代,成熟于明,鼎盛于清,以饱满繁复、精巧细腻、玲珑剔透、金碧辉煌的艺术风格及悠久的历史、完整的体系、浓郁的地方特色而著称于世,与东阳木雕、黄杨木雕、龙眼木雕并称“中国四大木雕”。2006年,潮汕木雕经国家批准列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
Chaoshan woodcarving art is known as "Zou Lu on the Seashore". More than 1000 years ago, Chaoshan ancestors discovered the softness and vitality of wood. Chaozhou woodcarving began in the Tang Dynasty, matured in the Ming Dynasty, and flourished in the Qing Dynasty. It is famous for its rich, complex, exquisite, exquisite and resplendent artistic style, long history, completed woodcarving system with rich local cultural characteristics, listed as one of "China's four major wood carvings". In 2006, Chaoshan woodcarving was approved by Chinese government to be listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
