During the meeting, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh introduced the current potential investment projects in Vietnam with great details, including mineral mining and deep processing. Vietnam has opened up the rare earth and mineral industry chain, but it is necessary to deep-process (high value-added) in Vietnam before exporting. At present, there is a local enterprise with an annual production capacity of 2 million tons of alumina seeks for foreign cooperation with an investment of $910 million USD, and hopes that Chinese companies will participate in the project to build refineries to support the industry upgrade. Thermal power plant project: The project is located in Nam Dinh province, which is situated in the Red River delta in the north of Vietnam.
