The United Arab Emirates, known as the U.A.E, is located in the east of the Arabian Peninsula. The U.A.E is famous for its oil production in the desert environment. The country enjoys a beautiful name of “The Flower in the Desert”. At 2:30 pm on August 18th, Home and Abroad News Press Journalist Delegation visited the U.A.E pavilion in the Expo Milano 2015. The Press Officer of the U.A.E pavilion Mr. Mahmoud Al Najjar welcomed journalists at the main gate.

走进阿联酋馆，一幅美丽的画面映入眼帘，我们在阿联酋馆看了两场电影。场馆中央有一个大礼堂，游客进入后首先会对阿联酋历史有个初步认知，随后依次进入其他空间区域学习到有关“沙漠绿洲”的知识，最后则来到咖啡厅和餐厅，这样的环绕式设计也恰好迎合了本次世博会的主题：给养地球。
When we entered the U.A.E pavilion, a beautiful picture came to our eyes. We watched two movies in the pavilion. The pavilion has a central hall where visitors will learn about the history of the United Arab Emirates, and then they can go through different sections to explore the “Desert Oasis”. At the end, they will finally come to the café and the restaurant to enjoy some delicious food there. This unique design really matches with the theme of the Expo: feeding the world.

在阿联酋馆，记者关注的问题：阿联酋是一个神秘的国度，阿联酋国家的石油和天然气资源非常丰富，阿联酋国家馆会不会利用米兰世博会机会向世界参观者展示本国的资源优势和特点？
In the UAE pavilion, the journalists asked many questions, like: “The UAE is a mysterious country, yet it has abundant oil and gas resources. How will the UAE Pavilion show the country's resources and unique characteristics to the world through Milano Expo this year?”

阿联酋馆新闻官默罕默德·納加爾在和我们的交流中谈到，阿联酋国家的石油和天然气资源非常丰富，阿联酋国家馆有机的利用米兰世博会机会向参观者展示本国的资源优势和特点。米兰世博会阿联酋馆独特的设计反映了阿拉伯联合酋长国的沙漠景观，一定会给参观者留下深刻印象。
The Press Officer of the U.A.E pavilion Mr. Najjar said that the UAE has abundant oil and gas resources. The pavilion is a good opportunity to fully show the country’s resource advantages and unique characteristics. The pavilion’s desert design will surely leave a great impression the visitors.

默罕默德·納加爾新闻官还告诉记者，为给米兰世博会的参观者创造一种自然凉爽的气候和舒适的环境，设计上考虑了这个展览需要遮蔽强烈的阳光。
Mr. Najjar also told us that in order to create a natural cooling and comfortable environment in the pavilion, the pavilion design helps to cover the strong sunlight for the visitors to enjoy their trip here.

阿联酋馆近期在米兰世博会将举办很多活动，默罕默德·納加爾新闻官欢迎记者前来采访。 2013年11月，在法国巴黎国际机构国际展览局在161个会员国公开投票，最终阿联酋迪拜获得2020年世界博览会举办权。记者对默罕默德·納加爾新闻官说，我们将充满期待。采访结束，小记者们给阿联酋新闻官及外交官赠送来自中国的小礼物。
The UAE pavilion will organize many activities during the Milano Expo 2015. Mr. Najjar welcomed all journalists to attend those events. In November 2013, the International Exhibitions Bureau had an open vote in Paris, France to elect the host city of World Expo 2020. Dubai, U.A.E eventually got the most votes and officially became the host city for World Expo 2020. The journalists said to Mr. Najjar, we will be looking forward to this great event in Dubai in the future. After the interview, the junior journalists presented their gifts from China to the UAE officers and diplomats.
