The 3rd China International Wine and Spirits Exhibition was held in Chongqing Exhibition Center in December 2012. This event attracted many well-known enterprises from such countries and regions as France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Chile, Argentina and South-Africa, and added festive color for the upcoming New Year.
This exposition dedicated in introducing latest wine technologies and products, capturing market opportunities, internationalized targeting, creating and promoting business opportunities between domestic and foreign enterprises based on Chongqing. It has provided a good opportunity for vast wine manufacturing enterprises, agents, distributors to show their products, an effective platform between consumers and wine makers, and an enhancement of supply and marketing integration to foster industrial development and markets entry.

Awine International is an Australian international trading company, having drawn people’s attention among numerous wine exhibitors. The chairman of the company Mr. Jianxiong Huang said in the interview, as the world's fourth largest wine produced countries, Australia has nearly 60 wine-producing regions well known internationally, representing styles under the influence of the different climate, soil and topography. Fusion of Mediterranean climate and fertile valley, the famous Auroyal、Golden Emu、Organic One and Koala28, produced world-famous Australian wine. Australia is a big country abounding in natural wealth, famously known as “a country riding on the sheep’s back”. It has become a close business partner with China in pace with the development of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation [APEC].
Since 2007, Australia has become the highest wine export country to China in Asia, meanwhile, its high cost-effective wine products has gained more and more interests by Chinese consumer compare with European wine. Awine delegator expressed three purposes in this exhibition: first, to provide a Chinese and Australian wine network service platform, to assist Chinese buyers to purchase the worth flavor wine in Australia, assist Australian wineries export the high-quality wine to China smoothly; Secondly, bring the Australia wineries tourism and wineries investment into China, promote the cultural exchange and share the elegant life; At the same time, through the wine and wineries, to provide some help of a low risk and high returns immigrant for investors.
At the wine exposition, Awine international invited Frank, an Australian winery owner and Awine’s the one and only wine maker to encourage wine cultural exchange in China. Frank announced excitedly, ‘There is a unique characteristic for my wine plantation, which is Organic. I use organic method all the way through from plantation, harvest to brewage. This wine making process produces a healthy, natural and fruity aromatic flavor. The most important is wine brings people joyousness.’ This is the reason that brought Frank to Chongqing to share this news.
At the just beginning of 2013, Chongqing sponsors have already been planning the 4th Wine Exhibition which is a testimony of the successful previous exhibition.
