    June 25th, Xi Jinping met with Russia President Vladimir Putin and held talks at the Great Hall of the People. The two heads of State agreed to adhere to the concept of strategic collaboration and friendship, increase mutual support and enhance political and strategic mutual trust, and strive to deepen the Sino-Russian strategic and cooperative partnership. Politburo Standing Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council Mr. Zhang Gaoli attended.

    习近平指出，近年来，中俄高层保持密切沟通，发挥顶层设计和重要引领作用，推动中俄全面战略协作伙伴关系保持高水平运行，也为国际和地区形势健康发展注入了正能量。今年是《中俄睦邻友好合作条约》签署15周年和中俄战略协作伙伴关系建立20周年，战略协作伙伴关系确立了中俄关系的战略性质，条约确立了两国世代友好的理念。双方作出的这两个重大战略决策符合两国和两国人民的根本利益，符合时代发展潮流。
    Xi pointed out that, in recent years, Sino-Russian high-level maintain close communication, top design and played an important leading role in promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership and maintain high performance, but also for the healthy development of the international and regional situation into a positive energy. This year was the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Russian Good-Neighborly Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Sino-Russian Strategic Cooperative Partnership, strategic and cooperative partnership established the strategic nature of Sino-Russian relations, treaties established between the generation concept. Both sides made significant strategic decisions in accordance with both countries and the fundamental interests of the two peoples, in line with the trend of the times.

    习近平强调，中俄要加大相互政治支持。双方要在涉及彼此核心利益问题上相互支持，不断巩固和深化政治和战略互信。中俄都是世界主要经济体和新兴市场国家，双方要通过深化务实合作和利益交融，特别是推进两国发展战略对接和“一带一路”建设同欧亚经济联盟建设对接合作，推进更广泛的区域经济合作，共同应对世界经济发展中遇到的困难和挑战，保持我们两国经济持续良好发展势头。
    Xi Jinping stressed, China and Russia should strengthen mutual political support. Two sides to mutual support on issues concerning each other’s core interests, continuously consolidate and deepen the political and strategic mutual trust. China and Russia are the world’s major and emerging market countries, both sides should deepen pragmatic cooperation and interests, particularly connecting the two countries’ development strategies and the “Belt and Road” initiative connecting with the Eurasian Economic Union, promoting greater regional economic cooperation to jointly respond to difficulties and challenges encountered in the development of the world economy, and maintain the momentum of sustained and sound economic development of our two countries.

    习近平指出，中俄要维护共同周边安全，加强在重大国际和地区热点问题上的协调和配合。中俄作为联合国安理会常任理事国和维护地区及世界安全稳定的建设性力量，要坚定维护联合国宪章宗旨和原则，坚定维护国际关系基本准则，坚定维护全球战略平衡和稳定，坚定维护国际公平正义，坚持通过友好协商和和平谈判政治解决国家间分歧和地区热点问题，继续致力于构建以合作共赢为核心的新型国际关系，维护好世界和平发展。
    Xi pointed out that China and Russia should maintain a common perimeter security, strengthen coordination on major international and regional issues and cooperation. As the permanent members of the United Nations Council, China and Russia will maintain regional and global security with their constructive power, to firmly follow the United Nations Charter’s intents and principles, maintain international relationship with basic guidelines, maintain global strategy balance and stability, maintain international fair justice through friendly consultations and peaceful negotiations to resolve political issues between different countries and some regional hot problems. The two countries are committed to build to new international relationships with cooperation and win-win strategic concept to maintain world peace and global development.

    普京表示，俄中两国元首保持经常接触，有利于推进两国全面战略协作伙伴关系。当前，俄中全方位关系发展迅速，两国政府间交流合作机制工作高效、成果丰硕，对推动双方广泛领域互利合作发挥了重要作用。作为战略协作伙伴，俄方愿同中方在各自核心利益和重大关切问题上相互理解和支持。俄方赞同加强双方在贸易、能源、高技术、安全、人文等领域合作，支持欧亚经济联盟同丝绸之路经济带建设对接合作。俄中两国在处理国际事务中立场相近，双方保持密切沟通协调十分必要。
    Putin said the Russian and Chinese heads of State maintain regular contact will help to promote the bilateral comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. At present, Russia-China all-round relations have developed rapidly, and the exchange and cooperation mechanisms between the two Governments work efficient and fruitful in promoting bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in wider areas. As a strategic partner, Russia is willing to work with the Chinese side in their respective core interests and mutual understanding and support on issues of concern. Russia is in favour of strengthening co-operation in trade, energy, high technology, security and cultural cooperation in the field of support with the Silk Road, the construction of the economic zone of the Eurasian Economic Union joint cooperation. Russia and China share similar positions in dealing with international affairs, the two sides maintained close communication and coordination is necessary.

    The two heads of State also heard the parties concerning cooperation in the Committee’s work report. The Chairman of Sino-Russian Investment Cooperation Committee, the Chairman of the Energy Committee and Chinese Vice Premier Mr. Zhang Gaoli, the Chairman of the Sino-Russia Cultural Cooperation Committee, the Vice Premier Mrs. Liu Yandong, the Chinese Chairman of Russian Prime Ministers Regular Meeting Committee, the Chinese Chairman of the China Northeast China and Russia Far East Cooperation Council, the Vice Premier Mr. Wang Yang, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Wang Yi and the Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Igor Ivanovich Shuvalov, the Deputy Prime Ministers Mr. Olga Yurievna Golodets, Mr. Dmitryi Olegovich Rogozin and Mr. Yury Petrovich Trutnev, the Russian Foreign Minister Mr. Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov reported on bilateral cooperation in various fields to provide updated progress and associated work plan.

    会谈后，两国元首共同签署了《中华人民共和国和俄罗斯联邦联合声明》、《中华人民共和国主席和俄罗斯联邦总统关于加强全球战略稳定的联合声明》和《中华人民共和国主席和俄罗斯联邦总统关于协作推进信息网络空间发展的联合声明》，并见证了经贸、外交、基础设施、技术创新、农业、金融、能源、媒体、网络、体育等领域30多项合作文件的签署。
    After the talk, the two heads of State jointly signed the “People’s Republic of China and Russian Federation Joint Declaration”, “The President of People’s Republic of China and the President of the Russian Federation’s Joint Declaration on Strengthening Global Strategic Stability” and “The President of People’s Republic of China and the President of the Russian Federation’s Joint Declaration on Collaborative Development of Information Network”. They also witnessed more than 30 cooperative documents signed in various fields, including bilateral trade and diplomacy, infrastructure facilities, technology innovation, agriculture, finance, energy, media, network, sports and such.
