At 19:00, the national anthems of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the People's Republic of China were played, and thenAmbassador of Bangladesh to ChinaH.E. Mr. MD Jashim Uddindelivered a welcome speech. He said that it is a pleasure to tell you that we are on our way to become a developed country by 2041, to develop Bangladesh as a Smart Bangladesh through transforming Digital Bangladesh. Bangladesh has set ambitious targets, and with the leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, we are moving forward without stopping.
乌丁大使感谢中方一贯尊重和支持孟方, 表示中国是孟最大贸易和发展伙伴, 双方合作潜力巨大。孟方期待同中方加快“金色孟加拉”梦想和“一带一路”倡议对接, 扩大各领域合作, 给两国人民带来更多福祉。
Ambassador Uddin expressed gratitude to China for its consistent respect and support for Bangladesh, saying that China is the largest trade and development partner of Bangladesh and there is enormous potential for cooperation between the two countries. Bangladesh looks forward to accelerating the synergy between the dream of "Golden Bangladesh" and the Belt and Road Initiative with China, expanding cooperation in various fields, and bringing more benefits to the two peoples.
陈晓东祝贺孟加拉国第53个独立日, 表示中孟是传统友好近邻。去年8月, 习近平主席出席在南非约翰内斯堡举行的金砖国家领导人会晤期间会见哈西娜总理, 为中孟关系发展做出重要战略指引。中方愿同孟方落实好两国领导人达成的重要共识, 持续深化政治互信, 拓展各领域交流合作, 推动两国战略合作伙伴关系不断迈上新台阶。
Chen Xiaodong expressed congratulations on the 53rd Independence Day of Bangladesh, saying that China and Bangladesh are traditionally friendly neighbors.
