(中外新闻社 中外新闻网记者 刘登臣 赵婷婷) 4月27日: 巴基斯坦大使馆举办以“在学术界和工业界之间架起桥梁”为主题的“巴基斯坦专业人士和学生论坛”, 中外新闻社总裁韦燕、执行社长刘登臣、教育部执行总监赵婷婷应邀出席。论坛汇集了高级政府官员、私营部门代表、学术界人士以及大量居住在中国的巴基斯坦专业人士和学生。
April 27th, The Embassy of Pakistan organized the "Pakistan Professionals and Students Forum" with the theme of “Building Bridges Between Academia and Industry”. Home and Abroad News Press President Wei Yan, Executive Director Mr. Liu Dengchen and Executive Director of Eduction Ms. Zhao Tingting attended the event with special invitations. The forum brought together senior government officials, private sector representatives, academics and a large number of Pakistani professionals and students residing in China.

At the forum, PakistanFederal Minister for Overseas and Human Resource Development Mr. Chaudhry Salik Hussaindelivered a pre-recorded message emphasizing the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry for the development and prosperity of the country. The Federal Minister appreciated the Embassy of Pakistan in China for providing a platform for Pakistani students and professionals to interact and exchange ideas utilizing the current and emerging opportunities in many sectors. Messages from Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, the Former Ambassador of Pakistan to China H.E. Moin Ul Haque,and Special Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional TrainingMohyuddin Ahmad Wani were also played during the forum.

Ambassador of Pakistan to ChinaH.E.Mr. Khalil Hashmi delivered a welcoming address. He highly appreciated the contribution of the Pakistani community in consolidating the "all-weather strategic partnership" between China and Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of the Forum in promoting interaction, exchange and networking among Pakistani professionals and students. The Ambassador spoke of his vision to transform the Forum into a permanent annual event with the active participation and involvement of the Pakistani community.

The forum also featured a panel discussion in which speakers shared their views on current industry trends, emphasizing the opportunities presented by China's increased focus on new and quality productivity. They explained the importance of strengthening knowledge corridors between China and Pakistan as part of efforts to promote a stronger community of destiny between the two countries.
