克罗地亚共和国位于欧洲的东南部，是一个发达的资本主义国家。8月3日， “见证友谊”--中外新闻社2016暑期小记者团来到克罗地亚使馆采访。文化参赞碧塞拉•法布里欧（Bisera Fabrio）女士接见了中外新闻社小记者。曾经也是一名记者的她十分理解小记者的心情，所以这次采访气氛也格外轻松。
The Republic of Croatia, located in Southeastern Europe, is a developed capitalist country. August 3rd, “Witness Friendship” --- Home and Abroad News Press 2016 Summer Junior Journalist Delegation visited the Croatian Embassy in China. The Cultural Counsellor Mrs. Bisera Fabrio met with the delegation. Because she was also a journalist before, she fully understood the feelings of the junior journalists. As a result, this interview was full of relaxation and joy.
从去年起，碧塞拉•法布里欧女士成为克罗地亚驻中国大使馆的文化参赞，虽然任职只有1年，但是她之前曾多次来中国旅游、工作。小记者请她分别谈谈她印象中的中克两国文化。
Mrs. Bisera Fabrio become the Cultural Counsellor of the Croatian Embassy in China last year, she has travelled to China many times before for work and tourism. The junior journalists asked her about the impression of Chinese and Croatian culture.
“您好，碧塞拉•法布里欧参赞，你是一位充满智慧和活力的女外交官，你曾经到过中国的很多城市，请问您喜欢中国文化吗？你如何在文化参赞任职期间为促进中克青少年交流、中克文化交流发展贡献自己的智慧和力量?”小记者问。
“Hello, Counsellor Bisera Fabrio. You are a successful women diplomat with wisdom and vitality. You have been to many cities in China, do you like Chinese culture? As the Croatian Counsellor in China, how will you contribute your wisdom and efforts to promote youth exchanges and cultural development between China and Croatia?” we asked.
碧塞拉•法布里欧参赞首先表示非常热爱中国。她说，中国是一个美丽的国家，有辽阔的国土、众多的人口。最让她着迷的是中国悠久的历史文化，她10岁的女儿在一所国际学校读书。她很乐意每天和女儿讨论中国历史。而克罗地亚没有中国大，却同样有着博大的文化，著名航海家马可•波罗就是克罗地亚人。克罗地亚风景很美，那里的人也很友好，乐意与人分享。
Counsellor Bisera Fabrio firstly expressed her love to China. She said that China is a beautiful country with vast territory and large population. She is very fascinated about Chinese long-history culture. She has a 10-year-old daughter who is attending an international school in Beijing. She is happy to learn and discuss about Chinese history with her daughter every day. Croatia is not as big as China, but it has profound culture as well. The famous navigator Marco Polo was a Croatian. The country has beautiful sceneries and friendly people, and those people are always willing to share with others.
在文化参赞任职期间，碧塞拉•法布里欧参赞表示要为促进中克青少年交流、中克文化交流发展贡献自己的智慧和力量，努力让克罗地亚的更多学生以及人民了解中国的文化，把两国文化传承下去。
As the Cultural Counsellor, Mrs. Bisera Fabrio wishes to contribute more wisdom and efforts to promote youth exchange and cultural exchange between China and Croatia. She wants more Croatian students and people learn more about Chinese culture so that we can pass on the traditional friendship between the two countries.
“我们从网上看到，克罗地亚历史悠久，环境优美，有非常长的海岸线，海水清澈，适合度假。而且还有众多联合国教科文组织认定的世界自然或文化遗产，请参赞女士谈谈克罗地亚的文化和旅游。如果我们选择去克罗地亚旅游，请问什么季节去旅游最好？”小记者问。
“We learnt from the Internet, Croatia has a long history, beautiful environment, long coastline and clear water which is perfect for a holiday. There are many UNESCO world natural and cultural heritages in the country as well. Could you please share with us about Croatian culture and tourism? If we want to visit Croatia, when is the best season to travel?” a junior journalist asked.
在旅游方面，碧塞拉•法布里欧希望中国游客多到克罗地亚旅游。克罗地亚历史悠久，环境优美，有非常长的海岸线，海水清澈，适合夏季度假。而且，这里还有众多联合国教科文组织认定的世界自然或文化遗产，有精美的食品，人民友好好客，是旅游观光的好地方。
In tourism, Counsellor Bisera Fabrio wishes more Chinese tourists visiting Croatia. The country has long history, beautiful environment, long coast lines and clear water which are perfect for a summer holiday. Furthermore, Croatia has many UNESCO world natural and cultural heritages, delicious food, and warm hearted people. Those made Croatia such great place to visit.
“克罗地亚是中欧国家，拥有地中海最现代的海滩。开车去维也纳只用三、四个小时。整个中欧，整个欧洲大陆最富庶的国家就在他们的家门口。旅游业是克罗地亚的支柱产业，中国是目前世界第一大出境旅游市场和第一大出境旅游消费国，选择到克罗地亚旅游任何时间都可以。”
“Croatia is a country in Central European with the most modern Mediterranean beaches. Driving to Vienna only about three or four hours. The whole Central Europe and the richest countries are around Croatia. Tourism is a pillar industry in Croatia. China is the world's largest outbound tourism market and the largest consumer of outbound tourism; therefore, we welcome you to Croatia any time you want.”
小记者还提问关于孔子学院和两国文化交流的问题。克罗地亚萨格勒布大学大学已开设孔子学院，这是中克两国人民友谊的见证。您认为，两国学生应该如何交流本国文化?
Junior journalists also asked: “University of Zagreb already established the Confucius Institute that symbolizes the friendship between China and Croatia and their people. In your opinions, how should the students from both countries to exchange their own cultures with each other?”
碧塞拉•法布里欧参赞认为孔子学院是一个很好的平台，让外国人了解中国文化，也让克罗地亚学生获益颇多。两国的留学生数量正日渐增长。最近，有一批克罗地亚的学生来到北京参观交流，他们享受这次学习。克罗地亚政府也为了吸引更多中国留学生，特意增加了奖学金名额。
Counsellor Bisera Fabrio highly spoke about the Confucius Institute as a great cultural exchange platform. Through it, the foreigners can learn a lot about China, and it brought many benefits to Croatian students. The exchange students between China and Croatia are increasing each year. Recently, a group of Croatian students are visiting China. They are really enjoying this study trip. Croatian government also introduced a number of favorable policies to attract more Chinese students to study in Croatia, especially with the increasing scholarships.
“请问克罗地亚的教育与中国有什么不同？小学生他们一年放假几次？放假会有很多作业吗？”年龄最小的小记者问。
“What are the differences between Croatian and Chinese education systems? How many holidays do Croatian students get every year? Do they study very hard, even during the holidays?” the youngest journalist asked the last question.
法布里欧参赞回答：“克罗地亚小学生他们放假会有作业，但是克罗地亚注重开发小学生的想象力和创造力,培养学生的兴趣,发掘他们的爱好,让他们找准自己以后发展的方向。”
Counsellor Bisera Fabrio answered: “The elementary school students in Croatia also have home work during their holidays, but Croatia focuses more on discovering and improving students’ creativity and productivity, helping them develop different interests so that they can explore their future directions for themselves.”
中国和克罗地亚建交时间虽不长，但令小记者们感受到两国友好互动一直不断，大家把自己准备的小礼品赠送给碧塞拉•法布里欧参赞，祝福她在中国工作开心、顺利，祝愿两国友谊像克罗地亚葡萄酒一样淳香、如克罗地亚阳光一样温暖！此次采访活动，联合国教科文卫促进会主席杰妮也应邀参加。
Although China and Croatia established the diplomatic relations not long ago, the junior journalists deeply felt the close connection and well-developed friendship between the two countries. After the interview, the students presented their home-made gifts to Mrs. Bisera Fabrio and wished her have a happy and smoothly life in China. We all hoped China and Croatia’s friendship would become deeper and closer joy and love.
