4月17日，厄瓜多尔驻华大使莱昂纳多•阿里萨加在使馆官邸接受中外新闻社记者采访时表示，希望与中国在各个领域进行全方面的合作与交流。
On April 17th, H.E. Mr. Leonardo the ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to China expressed his wishes of comprehensive cooperation and exchanging with China in various sectors during the interview with Home and Abroad News Press.
阿里萨加大使说，厄瓜多尔自建国以来和中国的外交关系一直保持着良好的态势。双方在国际事务等诸多领域都有共同点，两国的关系也正进一步的发展。
He said Ecuador has been keeping an excellent relation with China since the founding. The two countries share many common views in many fields and the mutual relationship is firmly moving forward.
大使说，厄瓜多尔和中国在经贸合作上也有着非常好的关系。特别是近几年，厄瓜多尔有许多的战略合作的项目都是同中国公司开展的。去年，厄瓜多尔与中国的关系增长迅速，其中，两国在矿业上有很好的合作，双方签署了一份价值15亿美元的铜矿开发项目。
He continued that Ecuador and China also have good cooperation on the economic exchanges and bilateral trades in the recent years. Ecuador currently has a number of strategic cooperative projects with China. Last year, the bilateral relationship grew rapidly, had nice partnership in mining industry and signed a copper mining development project which worth about 1.5 billion USD.
阿里萨加大使说，厄瓜多尔驻华使馆地址虽然在北京，但希望同中国其他城市进行更多的合作与交流。目前，从中国出口到厄瓜多尔的产品有三分之一来自广东省。中国的杭州有很大的贸易和发展的前景，在厄瓜多尔有一个城市叫昆卡，它与杭州缔结为了友好城市。
The Ambassador said that although the embassy is in Beijing, they hope expend their connections and communications to other cities in China. Currently, one third of the exporting products to Ecuador are from Guangdong province. At the same time, Hangzhou city has great prospects on trade development with the country. There is a city in Ecuador named Cuenca, it is now a Sister City of Hangzhou.
阿里萨加大使说，厄瓜多尔近几年的经济增长非常迅速，去年全国经济增长达百分之八。国内治安也是非常好的。希望与中国公司和中国媒体加强合作。今年使馆将举行15个文化交流方面的活动，希望中方媒体报道和参与厄瓜多尔驻华使馆的活动。
The Ambassador said that Ecuador’s economy has been growing rapidly these years and the GDP growth is 8%. The domestic security is also stable. The embassy hopes to promote the media cooperation with China further and it is going to hold 15 events this year on the cultural exchanges and media collaborations.
大使最后表示，愿通过自己的努力，让两国在科教、文化、旅游等方面进行更多的交流，让更多的中国朋友了解厄瓜多尔，进而推动双方各领域友好合作。
At last, the ambassador expressed his wishes to explore more opportunities for Ecuador and China in science, education, culture and tourism industries. He wants to learn more about China and hopes more Chinese friends can learn about Ecuador so that more partnerships can be found in various fields.
厄瓜多尔，原为印加帝国一部分。都基多位于皮钦查火山的山麓，高达2850米的海拔，使该市成为全世界第二高的首都。厄瓜多尔同时也是南美洲国家联盟的成员国。瓜亚基尔市是厄瓜多尔第一大城市，太平洋沿岸的主要港口，位于国境西南部瓜亚基尔湾内瓜亚斯河右岸，被称为“太平洋的滨海明珠”。
Ecuador is located beside the Pichincha mountain, which was a part of Inca Empire. It is the second highest capital city in the world with altitude of 2850 meters. Ecuador is also the member state of the Union of South American Nations. The biggest city of the Ecuador is Guayaquil that is the main port on the Pacific Rim. It’s located on beside the Guayas River, so called the “Pacific Coastal Pearl”.
