中外新闻社利用自身的功能定位和优势，独创的“中外新闻社小记者”已经成为国际社会知名品牌。“见证友谊”---中外新闻社小记者2017寒假出色完成俄罗斯、意大利、波兰、印尼、菲律宾、以色列、巴西、印度、泰国、墨西哥、比利时等11国驻广州总领事馆采访任务，墨西哥驻广州总领事卡洛斯•希拉尔特为小记者们颁发“优秀小记者证书”。至此，中外新闻社小记者共采访了56国驻华大使馆和21个驻广州（上海）总领事馆，中外新闻社新一轮的“新闻外交”又一次结出了丰硕成果。
“The Junior Journalist Delegation”, created by Home and Aboard News Press, has become a well-known international brand with unique positioning strategy and well-developed advantages. "Witnessing Friendship" 2017 Winter Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation successfully completed the series interviews with 11 foreign consulates in Guangzhou, including Russia, Italy, Poland, Indonesia, the Philippines, Israel, Brazil, India, Thailand, Mexico and Belgium. The Consul-General of Mexico in Guangzhou, Mr. Carlos Ignacio Giralt Cabrales presented “Outstanding Junior Journalist” certificates to the delegation members as the official conclusion of this winter series activities. With this milestone result, Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation has been interviewed with 56 foreign embassies in China as well as 21 foreign consulates in Shanghai and Guangzhou in the past few years, which demonstrated another remarkable achievement for this international “News Diplomacy” strategy.

今年1月22日，中外新闻社经过严格挑选，组织了8-15岁优秀中小学生组成 “见证友谊”中外新闻社2017寒假小记者团，历时5天，分别对俄罗斯、意大利、波兰、印尼、菲律宾、以色列、巴西、印度、泰国、墨西哥、比利时等11国驻广州总领事馆进行采访，各国总领事高度赞扬中外新闻社把孩子们送到使领馆，从小就关心国与国之间的交流，了解外国的文化、教育、旅游，近距离地感受各国外交官的“外交风范”，每一位小记者都向各国外交官赠送自己准备的小礼物，他们深深地感到自己就是传承中国与世界友好交流的桥梁和使者。
On January 22nd, Home and Abroad News Press organized 2017 Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation to foreign consulates in Guangzhou. About 28 school-aged students aged from 8 to 15 participated in this 5-day event and had exclusive interviews with 11 foreign consulates in Guangzhou, including Russia, Italy, Poland, Indonesia, the Philippines, Israel, Brazil, India, Thailand, Mexico and Belgium. The delegation members personally felt the foreign diplomats’ “diplomatic temperament” and presented their handmade gifts to the consulate officers. They have become and peace makers and messengers between China and the world.
此次小记者访问外国驻广州总领事馆，他们非常珍惜与各国外交官交流和对话机会，每天为了采访的问题而准备大量的素材，还克服了重重困难，坚持学习。小记者们敏捷的思维、从容的心理素质、沉稳的自信心和认真的学习态度，出色完成了采访任务，给各国总领事和外交官、新闻官留下了深刻而难忘的印象，1月25日，墨西哥驻广州总领事卡洛斯•希拉尔特阁下为小记者颁发“优秀小记者”证书。卡洛斯•希拉尔特总领事深有感触地说：“今天，我们的总领事馆很热闹，来了很多珍贵的小客人--小记者们的到访，我和我的同事非常重视今天小记者的采访活动。你们是中国优秀的小记者，是中国和世界美好的未来，长大后希望你们能写出更多的好文章，祝福墨中两国关系源远流长。”
In this winter event, the junior journalists cherished the opportunities when they interviewed different officers each day. Before and after the interviews, they had to do a lot of work to prepare and summarize each interview. Although the schedule was tight, the junior journalists were able to show their best works to complete the challenging tasks. Throughout the event, they improved their quick thinking, inner qualities and self-confidence characteristics. Their serious learning attitudes and excellent works made great impressions to all consul-generals and consulate officers. On January 25th, the Consul-General of Mexico in Guangzhou, Mr. Carlos Ignacio Giralt Cabrales presented “Outstanding Junior Journalist” certificates to the delegation members. He emotionally said that “Today, our consulate is very cheerful because we have so many little guests here. All of you are the most excellent junior journalists in China! I wish you will build better skills and write more news reports so that you will become famous news reporters or journalists in the future. I also wish China and Mexico’s friendship will be everlasting.”
中外新闻社2011年5月6日获中国国务院港澳办批准落地北京，这使中外新闻社与各国驻华使领馆的交流与合作更广泛、更密切。总编辑韦燕表示： 中外新闻社要把和谐融入世界，向世人展示的不仅仅是一个传媒的职能，更是传递和平的纽带和桥梁。组织小记者采访各国使领馆，旨意在让中国青少年了解各国的国情和文化。“展示‘新闻外交’、 推动世界和平”---成为中外新闻社发展的主旋律。
Home and Abroad News Press established its Mainland office in Beijing after receiving the official approval from the China's State Council - Hong Kong and Macao Office on May 6th 2011. This strategic move further strengthens the media’s communication and connections with foreign embassies and organizations in China.
