    Guided by China Friendship and Peace Development Foundation, organized by Home and Abroad News Press and Global Sustainable Development Fund, co-hosted by Hongkong Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Macao Chinese World Chamber of Commerce. On November 21st, Guangzhou “Belt and Road” Global Sustainable Development Exchange Luncheon was held in international conference hall of China Hotel Guangzhou, all foreign diplomats attended the event and delivered keynote speeches.

    The Deputy Director of the United Nations International Collaboration and Coordination Agency and President of Home and Abroad News Press, Mrs. Wei Yan delivered the welcome speech. She said that Home and Abroad News Press is an external promotion mainstream media authorized by the State Council of China. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are organizing this “Belt and Road” Global Sustainable Development Exchange Luncheon with Global Sustainable Development Fund in Guangzhou. 联合国国际合作协调局副局长兼新闻部部长、中外新闻社总裁韦燕作主题发言

韦燕指出，两天以前的11月19日，国家主席习近平在北京以视频方式出席APEC工商领导人对话会并发表题为《构建新发展格局　实现互利共赢》的主旨演讲，强调世界是不可分割的命运共同体，要全面深化抗疫国际合作，推动世界经济复苏。在演讲中，习近平再一次提出了新的要求：要把“一带一路”打造成合作之路、健康之路、复苏之路、增长之路。今天，我们在这里探讨“一带一路”全球可持续发展的话题，意义深远。“一带一路”倡议是共商共建共享的，是具有广泛包容性的合作平台，可持续发展目标是一个全球性的梦想，它是否会仅仅成为一纸愿望?这取决于各国的切实行动。
She continued that two days ago, Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the APEC business leaders video conference in Beijing and delivered a keynote speech entitled "Building a new development pattern to achieve mutual benefit and win-win", emphasizing that the world is an indivisible destiny community, and we should deepen international cooperation in all aspects of pandemiccontrol and promote the recovery of the world economy. In his speech, Xi Jinping said again that “Belt and Road” will become a cooperative, healthy, recovery and growth platform. Today, we are discussing “Belt and Road” initiatives with far-reaching significance. The “Belt and Road” initiatives are amutual sharing platform for cooperation with broad inclusiveness. The goal of sustainable development is a global determination. Will it become a mere wish? It depends on the practical actions of all countries.

斯洛伐克共和国驻华大使杜尚•贝拉阁下在演讲中详细的介绍了斯洛伐克的投资环境

    “一带一路”倡议作为区域合作新模式，为区域内各国发展带来机遇的同时，也推动了全球经济可持续发展。如何为全球经济可持续增长提供了重要动力和引擎？全球可持续发展基金执行主席章起华给大家作了精彩演讲，章起华就可持续发展展开分享,并介绍“全球可持续发展基金”的内容以及落地方案。
    “Belt and Road” initiatives, as a new model of regional cooperation, create opportunities to the development of countries in the region, and also promote the sustainable development of the global economy. How to provide an important driving force for the sustainable growth of the global economy? The Chairman of Global Sustainable Development Fund, Mr. Zhang Qihua gave a keynote speech. He shared his ideas on global sustainable development and introduced the vision and implementation plan of the Global Sustainable Development Fund.

    Slovakia is located inCentral Europe, and it is one of the strategic partners in “Belt and Road” initiatives. It has good economic position and open investment policy. The future cooperation between the two countries will mainly focus on investment, trade, transportation, tourism and research and innovation. Slovak Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Dusan Belladetailly introduced the investment environment of Slovakiain his speech. The Slovak "flying car" has attracted many attentions, which has combined two functions of automobile and airplane. The ambassador's video explanation was stunning.

乌拉圭驻华大使费尔南多·卢格里斯阁下作主题演讲

    作为首个与中国签署“一带一路”合作谅解备忘录的南方共同的成员国，乌拉圭希望成为推动拉美地区和中国在“一带一路”服务贸易领域合作的纽带。乌拉圭驻华大使费尔南多•卢格里斯在演讲中表示，乌拉圭在多个领域有着良好的发展基础，与中国在各国领域互补性强，拥有广泛的交流合作空间和巨大潜力。希望今后能在文化旅游、体育、教育、农牧业、经贸、人文等领域加强务实合作，推动更多项目早日落地见效。
    As the first official member of China’s “Belt and Road” initiatives from South America, Uruguay is hoping to become a bridge between Latin America and China in “Belt and Road” related services. Uruguayan Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Fernando Lugris said that Uruguay has a good foundation for economic development and strong complementarity with China in various field. It also has extensive opportunities for exchanges and cooperation with great potentials. We hope to strengthen practical cooperation in culture, tourism, sports, education, agriculture and animal husbandry, economy and trade, humanities and other fields in the future, and we are ready for early implementation of those projects.
    “一带一路”穿越时空带动了北欧国家冰岛的发展，这个大西洋北极岛国正在蓬勃发展，在未来十年，冰岛基础设施进一步建设所需的资本超过50亿美元。冰岛共和国驻华大使古士贤演讲，他表示，冰岛共和国是北欧国家之一，在地热能等清洁能源利用方面拥有成熟的技术和丰富的经验。多年来与其他国家分享绿色能源的冰岛经验。西咸新区目前正在大范围推广地热能，同样希望双方加强合作，推动地热能得到更好的使用。
    The “Belt and Road” initiatives also promote the development of Iceland in the Nordic countries. Iceland is actively booming in many sectors. Over the next ten years, the capital needed for further infrastructure development in Iceland will exceed USD $5 billion. Iceland Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Gunnar Snorri Gunnarssondelivered a speech, and he said that the Republic of Iceland is one of the Nordic countries and has mature technology and rich experience in the utilization of clean energy such as geothermal energy. Over the years, Iceland has shared its green energy experience with other countries. At present, XixianNew Economic Zone is promoting geothermal energy on a large scale. We also hope that both sides can strengthen cooperation to promote the better use of geothermal energy.

冰岛共和国驻华大使古士贤阁下作主题演讲

贝中两国复交是两国外交历史上最重要、最美好的事情。45年对于贝中两国是一段相互了解的历程，两国对未来发展有着相同的美好愿望，“借力‘一带一路’倡议，贝中两国将迈向共同发展的‘新时代’。贝宁共和国驻华大使西蒙•阿多韦兰德在演讲中表示，我已经看到“一带一路”倡议成为中非合作的平台。我们在科学、技术、创新、文化、艺术和体育领域都应该加强合作，我们可以建立一个可持续的、对青年一代有益的机制，我们需要把他们加入到中非合作的项目中。我认为，这将成为中非合作的新台阶，我们不仅仅要保证现有合作的顺利进行，也要着眼于未来的合作。
The resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Benin was the most important and beautiful event in the diplomatic history of the two countries. The two countries experienced a journey together in the past 45 years and still have great wishes for future development between each other. Through the “Belt and Road” initiatives, China and Benin will open a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. Beninese Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Simon Pierre Adovelande expressed that “I have seen the “Belt and Road” initiatives already become the platform for China and Africa cooperation.We should strengthen cooperation in the fields of science, technology, innovation, culture, art and sports.We can establish a sustainable mechanism beneficial to the younger generations.We need them for the China and Africa cooperationprojects.In my opinion, this will become a new stage of China Africa cooperation. We should not only ensure the smooth progress of existing projects, but also focus on future cooperation opportunities.

贝宁共和国驻华大使西蒙·阿多韦兰德阁下作主题演讲

    坦桑尼亚认为“一带一路”是中国独创的一项全球性倡议，是中国为世界做出的贡献。坦桑尼亚希望借此机会增加对中国出口，开拓更多的市场。坦桑尼亚共和国驻华大使姆贝尔瓦•凯鲁基在演讲中表示，坦中的关系不仅体现在政治上，经济和社会发展上，更重要的是中国已连续3年成为坦桑尼亚第一大贸易伙伴。中国是坦桑尼亚最大的外国投资者，累计投资70亿美元和700多个投资项目，“一带一路”倡议在基础设施等硬件方面，为坦桑尼亚所带来的益处是显而易见的，在软件方面为坦桑尼亚带来的改变，印象也同样深刻。
    Tanzania believes that the “Belt and Road” initiativeis a China's original global initiative with great contributions to the world. Tanzania hopes to take this opportunity to increase its exports to China and open up more markets to Chinese people. In his speech, Tanzanian Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. MbelwaKairukisaid that the relationship between Tanzania and China is not only reflected in political, economic and social development, but more importantly, China has become Tanzania's largest trading partner for three consecutive years. China is the largest foreign inve0 stor in Tanzania with more than 7 billion USD and more than 700 investment projects. The benefits of the “Belt and Road” initiativesin Tanzania, such as infrastructure, are obviously attainable. The soft changesare also impressivein Tanzania.
    马耳他共和国驻华副大使高吉恩、突尼斯共和国驻华副大使穆斯塔法•阿比德、孟加拉国驻华公使马苏德•拉黑曼、香港工商总会会长王福生、澳门华人世界商会主席叶晓阳先生、广东企业经营管理协会会长贾宝珍等在“一带一路”全球可持续发展交流演讲中真知灼见，结合各国、各地区国情区情，积极发展开放型经济，参与全球治理和公共产品供给，携手构建“一带一路”广泛的利益共同体。
    Deputy Chief of Mission of Maltese Embassy, Mr. Jean Paul Gatt, Deputy Chief of Mission of Tunisian Embassy in China Mr. Mustapha Abid, Bangladesh Minister to China, Mr. Masudur Rahman as well as the Chairman of Hong Kong Industry and Business Association, Mr. Wang Fusheng, Chairman of Macau Chinese World Business Association, Mr. Ye Xiaoyang and President of Guangdong Enterprise Management Association, Mr. Jia Baozhen also delivered speeches to exchange their ideas during the forum.

坦桑尼亚共和国驻华大使姆贝尔瓦·凯鲁基阁下作主题演讲

    各国使节齐聚“一带一路”全球可持续发展交流午宴，就“一带一路”、双边和多边合作、双向投资等话题展开讨论，此次交流会，为进一步增强中国的国际影响力，树立中国国际化形象、使“一带一路”建设进入2.0版新阶段起到了积极的作用。
    Foreign diplomats and Chinese leaders gathered at “Belt and Road” Global Sustainable Development Exchange Luncheon to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation, two-way investmentand etc. The exchange will play a positive role in further enhancing China's international influence, establishing China's international image and upgrading the “Belt and Road” initiative to a new version.
