When taking about Iran, we feel that it is a different country from others. It is mysterious and beautiful, yet its people are full of wisdom. We have admired Iran for long time because of the ancient and splendid culture of the Persian Empire, the ancient Silk Road, and the exquisite mosques. Our hearts are taken away by those! On the morning of January 30th, our junior journalist delegation arrived at the Iranian Embassy in Beijing. The Iranian ambassador to China, His Excellency Ali Asghar Khaji, and all Iranian diplomats expressed their warm welcome to us.
伊朗驻华使馆文化参赞穆罕默德•拉苏里•阿勒马斯叶以真主安拉之名，致欢迎辞。伊朗驻华大使阿里•阿斯加尔•哈吉阁下同中外新闻社总裁韦燕也分别致辞。韦燕说：今天我们非常开心，因为我们也一直期待着能够来到伊朗大使馆参访。这是我们从2008年北京奥运会以来，中外新闻社的大记者，小记者一直在关注着中国和伊朗的各个领域的发展，我们觉得伊朗和中国的孩子们会在两国关系一张白纸上画上最新最美的图画。

Since the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Home and Abroad News Press has been attached attentions to the development of various sectors in Iran. We feel that the children of Iran and China will be able to enhance the bilateral relations through adding more colors.

Ambassador Khaji said: “Iran and China has built friendly relations long time ago, the people have been connected through the Silk Road since the ancient times. The friendship has well developed and maintained until now. Mrs. Wei mentioned that because she received the special award from the Iranian President at the 17th World Media Expo, she is willing to dedicate her entire career and wisdom to further improve China and Iran’s friendly relations.

After watching an introduction film about Iran, the Ambassador started the interview. A junior journalist asked: “As the Ambassador to China, how will you use your wisdom and efforts to promote the exchange and cooperation among young people in China and Iran? Thank you!”
哈吉大使谈到，语言是世界各民族之间交流的重要工具，我们应该努力让两国人民的青少年学习对方的语言。现伊朗有好几所大学教汉语，伊朗使馆学校的学生也正在学习汉语。中国的十几所大学也开设了波斯语专业，所以应该进一步推进两国语言领域的发展进程。在我们推进两国民间关系的计划中，其中有一项就是未来大力发展伊中两国的旅游关系，希望在未来，我们共同见证伊中两国在教育、师生交流和文化活动领域进行广泛合作。
Ambassador Khajisaid that language is an important tool for communication between people around the world. We should work hard to get the young people of both countries to learn each other's languages. Now, Iran has several universities to teach Chinese, and the Iranian embassy school students are also learning Chinese. More than a dozen universities in China have set up Persian-speaking majors, we should further promote the mutual development in the language areas between both countries. One of our plans to promote civil relations between the two countries is to develop the tourism relations in the future. We hope that we will explore more cooperation and exchange between Iran and China in education, teacher-student exchanges and cultural activities.
小记者提问：伊朗是一个神秘的国家，有很多千年古建筑，同时也是一个美丽的国家，我非常想去看伊朗的名胜古迹，请问现在去伊朗安全吗？
A junior journalist asked: Iran is a mysterious country with many ancient buildings. It is also a beautiful country with many famous tourist spots. Is it safe to visit Iran now?
大使：伊朗是中东最安全的国家，也许你们看了一些新闻之后，对伊朗的安全状况表示担忧，但是我在这里可以告诉你们，德黑兰的安全状况与北京没有任何区别。你要在任何时候去伊朗，都可以选择从北京、上海、广州和乌鲁木齐直飞德黑兰，飞行时间不到八个小时。伊朗有很多的名胜古迹，其中有19个名胜古迹已经列入联合国教科文组织的世界文化遗产名录，你们一定会对伊朗伊斯兰文化感兴趣。
Ambassador said: “Iran is the safest country in the Middle East. Maybe after you read some news, you are worried about the security situation in Iran. But I can tell youthat the security situation in Tehran is no different from Beijing. You can go to Iran any time through direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Urumqi to Tehran. The flight time is less than eight hours. Iran has many interesting places and historic sites. Among them, 19 historic have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will certainly be interested in Iranian Islamic culture.
在采访活动过程中，我们与大使阁下展开了愉快的交流，大使阁下欢迎我们到来伊朗参观游玩。我们一些小记者还饶有兴趣的为阿里•阿斯加尔•哈吉阁下、穆罕默德•拉苏里•阿勒马斯叶参赞表演才艺，得到大使的高度评价，大使给每一位小记者赠送新年礼物。
During the interview, junior journalists had a great talk with the Ambassador, and he invited us to visit Iran. Some junior journalists made performance to the ambassador and embassy officials. They received high appreciation from the ambassador. The ambassador also presented the new year gifts to each junior journalist.
通过在伊朗驻华大使馆采访，我们小记者收获颇丰，真切地感受到了伊朗外交官的智慧、热情与友好，使小记者们重新认识了这个历史悠久的国家，并且表示十分渴望到这个国家参观旅游。
Through the interview with the Iranian embassy, our junior journalists learned a lot about this country and personally felt the wisdom, passion and friendly manners of Iranian diplomats. This is great opportunity to understand this historical country again, and the junior journalists are eagerly to visit Iran in the future.
