德国馆作为上海世博会最热门的场馆之一，中外新闻社小记者团7月22日上午10：30准时抵达德国馆，由德国馆新闻官马琳小姐领进馆贵宾室。当德国馆馆长费熙婷面带微笑现身时，立即受到了小记者们的欢迎。小记者团团长、中外新闻社总编韦燕与费熙婷馆长交流了小记者们采访的内容，包括中外新闻社作为上海世博会注册媒体所关注的热点。待小记者入座后，此行的第一次采访便开始了。
As one of the most popular pavilions in Shanghai EXPO, Home and Abroad News Press junior journalists punctually arrived German Pavilion at 10:30, Jul.22. Information officer in German Pavilion, Miss Mareen Hoeppner, showed us into the VIP room. When Ms Urte Fechter who is the curator of German Pavilion appeared with smile, she was warmly welcomed by junior journalists. The junior journalist leader, Yan Wei, who is also the home and abroad news press chief editor, communicated with Ms Urte Fechter on the content of junior journalists’ interview, including home and abroad news press as the Shanghai Expo in registered the focus of attention by the media. After the admission to journalists, the first interview of this trip began.
宋达小记者首先问到：“德国馆世博会的主题是‘和谐都市’。巧合的是，中国的圣人孔夫子早在2000多年以前便倡导要创建和谐城市。中国近些年来更是注重和谐城市的构建。那么我很疑惑德国馆所谓的‘和谐’与中国人倡导的人与人之间的和谐有什么不同？”

费熙婷馆长：“城市是人们所聚集居住的地方。无论是在中国还是在西方，构建让人们生活得和平、舒适的环境愿望是相同的。所以我们所展示的‘和谐城市’是没有国界的。”

当被问及德国馆展示的主题和亮点时，费熙婷馆长如是说：“德国馆首先在建筑上展示了简约的风格，包括城市模型、德国饮食、还有文化展览。其中文化展览是想通过德意志民族风格的音乐、戏剧、舞蹈表演，让来自世界各地的参观者和旅居上海的德国同胞在世博会期间感受德国的文化与风貌。表演团体来自柏林艺术学校的体操学生，他们已在上海生活了2个月有余。除了表演杂技以外，这些学生还在上海的学校里接受常规的教育，继续学习文理知识。”

Through the German national style of music, drama, dance performances, Cultural exhibition lets visitors from around the world and German compatriots living in Shanghai feel the German culture and style during the Shanghai EXPO. The performing groups are the gymnastics students from Berlin art schools, and they have lived in Shanghai for more than 2 months. In addition to performing acrobatics, these students also take formal education at school in Shanghai, continuing the study of Arts and Science knowledge. "
