These projects have enhanced connectivity and made it easier for Sri Lanka to attract tourists from across the globe. Sri Lanka's tourism industry has been well-established, and it is ready to welcome the Chinese tourists. We have implemented visa facilitation measures specifically for Chinese citizens with simplified visa applications to Sri Lanka. In addition, the Sri Lanka Tourism Board and Sri Lankan Embassies and Consulates in China, with the support of the Sri Lanka Ministry of Tourism and Lands, have been making efforts to promote tourism resources through various means. These efforts are aimed at increasing Chinese tourists' awareness of Sri Lanka as a vibrant tourism-rich destination and encouraging Chinese tourists to choose Sri Lanka as an attractive tourist destination."
Sri Lanka Tourism hopes to promote tourism cooperation and exchanges between the two countries through this media and travel industry event to capture a larger market share of Chinese outbound tourism, and eventually to make Sri Lanka a preferred overseas tourism destination for Chinese citizens so that more Chinese people can personally experience the colorfulness of this warm island country!
Sri Lanka is known as the "Pearl of the Indian Ocean", and this charming island paradise has many wonderful tourism choices and unique experiences. We can summarize and interpret the uniqueness of Sri Lanka with "Three characteristics with Eight experiences". "Three characteristics" refer to the experience, compactness and diversity, "Eight experiences" refer to sandy beaches, breathtaking sceneries, world heritages, wild animals, Lankan treasures, adventure sports, cuisine enjoyment and colorful festivities.
