7月31日下午，“见证友谊”中外新闻社小记者2017暑期访问外国驻华使领馆小记者团在北京珀丽酒店酒店举行了开团仪式。国家财政部办公厅秘书长李铁堆，国家商务部副司长李朝胜，法国世界瑰宝艺术协会主席、总政歌舞团著名女女高音歌唱家贺玉琴，联合国国际协调局副局长兼新闻部长、中外新闻社总裁韦燕，中外新闻社执行社长、副总编刘登臣，中外新闻社常务副总编胡树萌，中外新闻社副社长马晓忠，中外新闻社常务理事、国际文化交流中心主任王银聚等领导出席。韦燕对即将出征、肩负着外事采访任务的小记者们发表了重要讲话。并在会上就“见证友谊”中外新闻社2017暑期访问外国驻华使领馆小记者团采访的国家一一作了介绍，并对外交礼仪、采访技巧、标题制作等进行了实战培训。
