Ambassador Selim Belortaja is a Ph.D in economics who served as the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Albania, the Special Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister and other important positions. Now he is the Ambassador to China also serving North Korea, South Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia and Bangladesh. As the Albanian ambassador to China, he actively promotes the cooperation between Albania and China and signed various cooperation memorandum between the two governments to encourage Albania’s participation in the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’.
