（中外新闻社小记者 刘乐奕 吴凯航 曾家皓 蔡易雯）古巴是首个同新中国建立外交关系的拉美和加勒比国家。中国和古巴是彼此信赖、命运与共的好朋友、好同志、好兄弟。建交近64年来，面对国际风云变幻，中古双方在建设本国特色社会主义道路上携手并进，在涉及彼此核心利益问题上相互支持，在国际和地区问题上密切配合，已经成为社会主义国家团结合作、发展中国家真诚互助的典范。2月1日下午，中外新闻社2024寒假小记者团如期采访古巴驻华使馆副大使马里奥阁下，小记者表示要接过传承中古宝贵的友谊。
Cuba was the first Latin American and Caribbean country to establish diplomatic relations with New China. China and Cuba are good friends, good partners and good brothers who trust each other and share the same destiny. Over the past 64 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, in the face of international complications and changes, China and Cuba have joined hands in building socialism with their own characteristics, supported each other on issues related to their core interests, and closely cooperated on international and regional issues, which has become a model of solidarity and cooperation between socialist countries and sincere mutual assistance between developing countries. On the afternoon of February 1st, 2024 Winter Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation had exclusive interview with the Deputy Head of Mission of the Cuban Embassy in China H.E. Mr. Mario Alzugaray Rodriguez, and the junior journalists expressed to pass on the valuable friendship between China and Cuba.
马里奥首先表示欢迎中外新闻社小记者团的到访，他说古巴使馆与中国青少年学界有着广泛、深刻的学术往来。青少年延续着老一辈学者对古巴和中古关系研究的专业性与热情。他认为，古巴和中国同属社会主义国家，两国对国际社会的发展有着重要贡献。
Mr. Mario welcomedHome and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation, saying that the Cuban Embassy has extensive and profound academic exchanges with Chinese young academics. The youth continue the professionalism and enthusiasm of the older generation of scholars in the study of Cuba and China- Cuba’s relations. In his view, Cuba and China are both socialist countries, and both countries have made important contributions to the development of the international community.
小记者问：“您好！尊敬的副大使阁下！我们小记者能采访您感到非常高兴。去年11月2-9日, 古巴总理马雷罗成功访华, 推动了中古友好关系在新的一年里向更高的目标迈进。你认为：两国青少年要如何传承中古建交63年来的宝贵友谊？谢谢!”
A junior journalist asked: “Hello, Dear Deputy Ambassador! It is a great pleasure for us to have this interview with you today. The successful visit of Cuban Prime Minister Manuel MarreroCruz to China from November 2nd to 9th last year has pushed up the friendly relations between China and Cuba towards higher goals in the new year. In your opinions: how will the youth of the two countries pass on the valuable friendship between China and Cuba over the 63 years of diplomatic relations? Thank you!”
马里奥谈到，“这是一个非常好的问题，感谢您的提问。去年11月2-9日, 古巴总理马雷罗成功访华, 推动了中古友好关系在新的一年里向更高的目标迈进。1960年9月28日，古巴成为第一个同新中国建立外交关系的拉美国家，成千上万古巴民众齐聚在首都哈瓦那市中心的革命广场上见证了这一历史性时刻。在我们这个大厅外面的长廊上面，大家还可以看到一些比较有价值的历史照片，包括当时古巴的最高领。古巴和中国的青少年也为两国的友谊发挥非常重要的作用。接下来我们的责任要进一步深化古巴和中国的友谊，引导古巴和中国青少年关心两国国家的重大时事，通过文化的交流，更好的促进两国之间的友谊。”
Mr. Mario said, “This is a very good question, thank you for asking! Last November 2-9, Cuban Prime Minister Marrero's successful visit to China pushed the China and Cuba’s friendly relations to a higher goal in the new year. On September 28, 1960, Cuba became the first Latin American country to establish diplomatic relations with the new China, and tens of thousands of Cuban people gathered in Revolution Square in the center of the capital, Havana, to witness this historic moment. In the gallery outside this hall, you can also see some valuable historical photos, including the highest Cuban leaders of the time. Cuban and Chinese youth also play a very important role in the friendship between the two countries. Our next responsibility is to further deepen the friendship between Cuba and China, guide Cuban and Chinese youth to care about major current events in both countries, and better promote the friendship between the two countries through cultural exchanges.”

Cuba is a beautiful country with rich tourism resources, gorgeous coastline, bright sunshine, clear water and white beaches, which makes it a first-class tourist and vacation destination in the world. Congratulations to Cuba for being included in the first batch of China's pilot countries for outbound tours. If we choose to travel to Cuba, what is the best season to go? Thank you!” we asked.
马里奥谈到，古巴岛被誉为“墨西哥湾的钥匙”。古巴的文化是由三个部分组成：首先是西班牙殖民者留下的欧洲文化，然后其次是非洲的黑人文化，最后是来自中国南部的劳工、华裔留下来的中国的文化和亚洲的文化。在我们古巴有一句俗语叫古巴是太阳偏爱的国家。古巴拥有9个世界文化遗产、227座标志性象征建筑、200多处已开发的海滩和14座国家公园，同时有着便利的交通、稳定安全的社会环境、丰富的文化、热情好客的人民。去古巴最佳旅游季节是在12月至4月之间。这段时间内，古巴的天气既不太热也不太湿，气候宜人。
Mr. Mario said that the island of Cuba was known as the “Key to the Gulf of Mexico”. Cuban culture is made up of three parts: first, the European culture left behind by the Spanish colonizers, then the black culture from Africa, and finally the Chinese and Asian culture left behind by Asian laborers, especially the laborers from southern China and their Chinese descents. In Cuba we have a saying that Cuba is the country favored by the sun. Cuba has 9 World Heritage Sites, 227 iconic and symbolic buildings, more than 200 developed beaches and 14 national parks, as well as convenient transportation, a stable and safe social environment, a rich culture, and a warm and hospitable people. The best season to visit Cuba is between December and April. During this time, the weather in Cuba is neither too hot nor too humid and perfect for everyone to enjoy.
小记者在采访中了解到，现在每年有很多的古巴青年学生来华留学，他们每年除了留学以外，还有很多文化，学术和各领域的交流互访。同时也有超过3000名中国青年学生到古巴留学，他们也响应古巴前领导人菲德尔•卡斯特罗提出的为中国青年西班牙语教研项目，也是在各专业各领域进行实习。由于中国和古巴都是社会主义国家，所以很多的教育方面会有相似性，比如青少年和未成年的教育都是投入了非常大，确保青少年儿童得到高质量的教学水平。古巴的教育从小学一直到大学甚至研究生阶段在古巴上学都是免费的。古巴为了成为教育免费国家，做出了非常大的贡献和牺牲，因为古巴在美国长期的封锁下古巴的经济面临困难。即使在这样的情况下，古巴依然保证了全民接受免费高质量的教育。
The junior journalists also learned that many young Cuban students come to study in China every year, and that in addition to studying abroad, they also have many cultural, academic and other exchanges and visits in various fields. At the same time, there are more than 3,000 young Chinese students studying in Cuba, and they are taking the Spanish teaching and research programs proposed by the former Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Those Chinese students have also carried out internships in various specialties and fields. Since China and Cuba are both socialist countries, there are similarities in many aspects of education, such as the education of young people and adolescents, in which a great deal of effort is invested to ensure that young people and children receive a high-quality education. Education in Cuba is free from elementary school to university and even graduate school. Cuba has made great contributions and sacrifices to become a free education country because of the economic difficulties it faced under the prolonged U.S. embargo. Even under these circumstances, Cuba has ensured that education is free and of high quality for all.
采访结束，马里奥副大使愉快的为小记者准备了古巴的糖果，并邀请小记者和他们的父母一起到古巴旅游观光，小记者们也把自己准备的小礼物赠送给马里奥副大使和其他外交官。一时间，古巴驻华使馆会议厅祝福声、欢笑声汇聚一堂，合影时大家齐声欢呼：中古友谊万岁……
At the end of the interview, Mr. Mario kindly prepared Cuban candies for the junior journalists and invited them to travel to Cuba with their parents. The junior journalists also presented their home-made gifts to Mr. Mario and other diplomats. At that moment, the conference hall of the Embassy of Cuba was filled with blessings and laughter. When taking a group photo, everyone loudly said: Friendship between China and Cuba last forever......
