大使馆是一国在建交国首都派驻的常设外交代表机关。大使馆代表整个国家的利益，全面负责两国关系，由国家元首任命并作为国家元首的代表履行职责。大使馆成为了一个窗口，向世界展示着各国独特的文化魅力。北京有172个国家驻华大使馆常设在此，中国同各国的友好合作关系全面发展，本着平等互利原则，积极开展了多层次、宽领域、全方位合作，取得了丰硕成果。而青少年却是推动中国同各国的友好合作关系全面发展的一支重要力量。
An embassy is a permanent diplomatic representative agency of one country in another region or nation where it has diplomatic ties with. The embassy is the representative of the whole country and fully responsible for various kinds of issues between the two countries. The important positions are directly appointed by the head of state and act as the representatives to perform the duties of the head of state. As a window to the general public, an embassy is also full of unique cultural charm of that country. There are 172 foreign embassies in Beijing, China and many countries have developed comprehensive friendly relationships with the principles of equality and mutual benefits. Through multi-level, cross-sector and all-around cooperation, Chinese diplomatic policies have achieved remarkable results. In fact, the youth is one of the important channels to maintain and improve the friendly relationships between China and other foreign countries.
由中外新闻社、中艺杰国际教育集团组织的“见证友谊”中外新闻社2014寒期访问外国驻华使领馆小记者团1月20日在北京丽都假日大酒店举行开团出征仪式，中共中央宣传部新闻出版局副局长张凡等领导应邀出席，张凡对即将出征、肩负着外事采访任务的小记者们发表了重要讲话。
Organized by Home and Abroad News Press and Zhongyijie International Educaiton Group, "Witness Friendship" 2014 Winter Home & Abroad News PressJunior Journalist Delegation held the opening ceremony at Metropark Lido Hotel on January 20th. Mr. Zhang Fan, the Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, with other officials were invited to attend this opening ceremony. Mr. Zhang Fan also made an important speech to all young journalists for their upcoming challenges to interview different foreign embassies and affairs.

The Chief Information Officer of the North-North Network associated with United Nations the President of Home and Abroad News Press Mrs. Wei Yan introduced all details about the Junior Journalist Delegation and provided real-life training to the participating students for proper diplomatic etiquettes, interviewing skills as well as the news writing and title making skills.

Each junior journalist made a three-minute speech at the ceremony. They all expressed their expectations for this summer event and willing to improve their comprehensive qualities and English skills through this precious opportunity.

Finally, Mr. Zhang Fan and Mr. Jin Yong passed the delegation flag to the delegation leader as the official start of the delegation journey. All junior journalists followed the delegation leader and prepared themselves for the upcoming challenging interview tasks with confidence and maximum energy.
