Vice President of Xiamen Youqun Investment Group Mr. QiuWeiqiang led the diplomat delegationvisit the“Green Plate New World” Park, the country's first ecological park built by Xiamen Youqun Investment Group with the theme of new energy electric vehicles. During the visit, Mr. Qiu gave a detailed introduction of the world's first EVOGO exchange station opened by Times Electric Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL. This exchange station attracted much attention of Sri Lankan Ambassador Dr. Palitha Kohona and Bangladeshi Commercial Counsellor Mr. Mohammad Monsour Uddin. They raised a number of questions about the technology outsourcing and production during the conversations. The representatives answered questions and exchanged ideas with the ambassadors and guests. Everyone learned that the new energy industry has now been widely concerned worldwide and the future export trend of products is in high demand.
通过参观、探讨、交流，多国有意加强合作，围绕“新能源电动汽车一站式生态园区建设、新能源汽车电池检测、新能源售后服务、新能源发电”等领域通过平台的资源构建与整合，共同打造一个可复制的商业模式。
Through visits, discussions and exchanges, some countries intend to strengthen cooperation and build a replicable business model through the construction and integration of "new energy electric vehicle one-stop ecological park, green vehicle battery testing, new energy power generationandafter-sales services".
目前，厦门市已形成电池材料及配套、电池制造、电池应用为发展主体，充电、梯次利用及能源管控等配套完善的新能源锂电产业链和产业集群，入选了国家首批战略性新兴产业集群。2022年厦门锂电池及相关产业规模即将达到400亿元，预计到2024年有望形成一条新的千亿产业链。斯里兰卡驻华大使帕利塔•科霍纳博士表示，斯里兰卡拥有丰富的光伏和风资源，在两国政府减碳承诺的大背景下，愿意与中国在新能源领域加强合作，希望中国宁德时代发挥优势，助力斯里兰卡的能源转型和基础设施升级。
At present, Xiamen has formed a new energy lithium industry chain and industry zone with battery materials and supporting units, battery manufacture, battery application as the main development body, charging, gradual utilization and energy control, etc. It has been selected as one of the first strategic emerging industry zones in China. The scale of Xiamen lithium battery and related industries will soon reach 40 billion yuan in 2022, and is expected to create a new 100 billion industry chain by 2024. Ambassador of Sri Lanka to ChinaH.E. Dr. Palitha Kohona said that Sri Lanka has rich solar and wind resources, and it is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in the field of new energy in the context of the commitment of carbon reduction by the two governments, and hopes that China CATLwill play a key role to help Sri Lanka's energy transformation and infrastructure.
