西雅图是美国一个繁华的工业城市，9月28日，我们代表团一行参观了全球最大的飞机制造厂——美国波音公司，领略美国先进的航空技术。
Seattle is a prosperous industrial city in the United States. Sept 28th, Home and Abroad News Press Business Delegation visited the world's largest aircraft manufacturer - Boeing Company, we personally felt the charm of the advanced aviation technology of the United States.
波音公司位于西雅图近郊Everett。由于波音公司一直是全球最主要的民用飞机制造商，同时也是军用飞机、卫星、导弹防御、人类太空飞行和运载火箭发射领域的全球市场领先者，其生产车间的各项技术和数据非常严密，我们代表团一行进入波音公司不能携带如何物品，包括皮包、照相机、手机等。
The Boeing Company is located in a Seattle suburban, called Everett. Since the Boeing Company has been the world's most important civil aircraft manufacturer and the global market leader in military aircraft, satellites, missile defense, human space flight and launch vehicles, the technology and data of the production workshops are monitored very closely. Our delegation cannot carry any items, including purses, cameras, and mobile phones, when visiting Boeing.
上午10点，我们按时进入波音公司后被安排观看两部影片，一部是关于飞机历史的，一部是7分钟快速拼出飞机。
At 10:00 am, we watched two films arranged by Boeing. One was about the history of the aircraft, and another one was to show how to make an airplane in 7 minutes.
波音公司现为全球145个国家的客户提供产品和服务，其历史映射出人类飞行第一个世纪的发展史。40多年来，波音一直是全球最主要的民用飞机制造商，同时也是军用飞机、卫星、导弹防御、人类太空飞行和运载火箭发射领域的全球市场领先者。
The Boeing Company provides products and services to customers from over 145 countries, and its history mapped out the history of the first century’s development of aircrafts. For over 40 years, Boeing has been the world's leading civil aircraft manufacturers, and also the global market leader in military aircraft, satellites, missile defense, human space flight and launch vehicle.
我们紧跟着波音公司的工作人员连续参观了两个车间，每个车间的流线基本相似，呈U形，也就是说，转个180度，这飞机就组装完了。飞机组装好后，由专业的飞行员先行测试，然后由飞行该航线的人来测试。
We followed the Boeing staff visited two workshops. They are basically similar to each other with a U-shaped workflow. In other words, when the airplanes turn 180 degrees, the assembly will be finished. After the assembly, the aircraft will be tested by professional pilots firstly, and then further tested by the airline pilots for the real route flights.
我们提前领略到787的模型，787是真正的梦想航线，更大的舷窗使每位乘客都能从自己的座位上欣赏空中美景，大大的圆吧台，更便于商务客人的交流。
During the visit, we had a chance to see the latest 787 model. The 787 model is made for a real dream route. Larger windows will allow passengers enjoy unbeatable views in the air from their seats. Business people can also enjoy their talk over a big round-shaped bar.
波音公司生产的第一架787已经由全日空购买；而海南航空是中国第一家购买787的公司。787满身都是高科技，它采用重量更轻、更牢固、抗腐蚀性更强的碳纤维原料，为减轻飞机重量，更是因为节能。
The first 787 airplane produced by Boeing has been purchased by the ANA. Hainan Airlines is the first Chinese airline company purchasing the 787 airplanes. This model has all high-tech elements. It is lighter, stronger with more corrosion resistance of carbon fiber materials to reduce the weight of the aircraft, but highly energy efficient.
参观完毕，美国先进的航空技术令代表们深感振奋，备受鼓舞。在波音公司的特殊区域，也就是可以体验驾驶飞机和拍照的地方，代表团成员纷纷的举起了照相机……
After the visit, all delegation members are very impressed and encouraged by U.S. advanced aviation technology. In the special-designated area in the Boeing Company where visitors can experience flying an airplane and take photographs right beside the airplanes, we surely took a lot of pictures to catch this unique moment…
