11月20日，意大利驻华大使馆新签证中心正式落成投入运营，意大利驻华大使白达宁先生主持了新签证中心的落成庆典，意大利米兰市长利亚诺皮萨皮亚，意大利驻中国经济参赞孟昊天、商务秘书尼古拉出席了落成庆典。
November 20th, Italian Embassy in China opened the new visa center for full-range operations. Italian Ambassador to China H. E. Mr. Alberto Bradanini hosted the opening ceremony of the new visa center, the Mayor of Milan city Mr. Giuliano Pisapia, the Commercial Counsellor of Italian Embassy in China Mr. Augusto Massari, and the Commerce Secretary Nicholas attended the ceremony.

The new visa center also offers Italian coffee and food for all applicants. Chinese people can enjoy Italian local taste while submitting their visa applications here.
2015年世界博览会将在意大利米兰举行，这将是意大利经济、文化国际化的重要契机，也将是加强意大利与各国间政治、经济、文化等领域合作交流的重要平台。新落成签证中心预计一年能够接待50万人次的中国公民办理签证手续，这将很大程度上促进更多的中国公民了解意大利，赴意大利参加世博会以及各类文化交流活动，提升中意文化交流的深度和广度。
The 2015 World Expo will be held in Milan, Italy, which will be an important opportunity for internationalization of Italy's economy and culture and also provide a unique communication platform that can strengthen cooperation and communication in political, economic, cultural and other fields between Italy and other countries. The new visa center is expected to receive more than 500,000 visa applications from Chinese residents. This will greatly promote Italy to more Chinese people through the World Expo as well as other kinds of cultural exchange activities; in return, China and Italy will further improve the cultural exchange and in-depth communication.
