尊敬的各位大使，尊敬的各位来宾，女士们，先生们，大家好！
Dear fellow Ambassadors to China, respected guests, ladies and gentleman, Good evening!
今天我感到非常自豪，能够成为中国中外新闻社年度人物获奖者之一，我想在此表达我由衷的感谢，感谢中外新闻社主办的这次有意义的活动---中外新闻人物颁奖典礼，我也衷心的祝贺中外新闻社十三周年的庆典。女士们，先生们，请允许我代表我的国家表达对中国人民的感谢。
Today, I am greatly honored to become one of the prize winners of “Home and Abroad News Press - 'The News Person of the Year'” awards. I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciations for organizing such meaningful event and congratulate Home and Abroad News Press’ 13th anniversary. Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to express gratitude to the Chinese people on behalf of my country.
中国最近在北京成功举行的“两会”中，中国政府表达了对金融改革，收入支配以及一系列的职能政法之间的很大的改革，我也很惊喜的看到中国政府也在不断的促进自由的言论，以及在这个方面所作出的努力，中国政府同时也对可持续发展的社会活动，以及对经济发展的质量与速度做出进一步的改革，中国政府也不断的推进媒体的改革，像中外新闻社一样的更多的新闻媒体应运而生，这些卓有成效的成果是其他发展中国家可以借鉴的。
China recently hosted the National People's Congress & Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Sessions in Beijing, and the government expressed its strong intentions to push for financial reform, balance income distribution, and restructuring of many government administrations. I am delighted to see that the Chinese government has continued to promote freedom of speech, and its efforts to establish a sustainable development structure and elevate the quality of economic growth. Chinese government has also promoted the development of a variety of media organizations such as Home and Abroad News Press. These are all great example for other countries to follow.
加纳共和国在1960年7月与中华人民共和国建交，在此之后，两国之间不断的增进友谊，以推动经贸，科技，双边贸易，投资，文化，以及其他产业的进一步发展。在2009年10月，我正式成为加纳共和国驻中国大使，在我的任期内，致力于加强两国已有的友好关系，更加推动两国在各个领域，乃至于在政治，经贸，文化，以及社会各个方面的关系进展，我很致力于学习中国的文化，推动中国和世界文化的融合和发展。
Ghana and China established diplomatic relations since July 1960. Since then, the relationship has been gradually improved through closer cooperation in areas of trade, technology, investment, and culture. I became the Ambassador of Ghana to China in October 2009, during my term as an Ambassador, I strived to strengthen the friendly relationship between China and Ghana, and promoted for greater interactions in political, economical cultural and social aspects. I have dedicated time to understand more about the Chinese culture and hoped to promote the integration of Chinese culture into the world.
2010年的上海世博会，我目睹了中国的极速发展，不仅仅是在各个区域，经济的发展能够得到腾飞，中国也成为了世界上第二大的经济体，我也想把这一段美好的经历跟我国家的人民一起来分享。我希望在我任期内，能够更多的推荐加纳与中国之间的合作与发展，和中国更多的媒体包括中外新闻社有更多更好的互动与合作，祝愿中国和加纳的关系天长地久。
In the 2010 Shanghai Expo, I witnessed the exponential development of China. China became the second largest economy in the world with huge growth in different industries. I wanted to share this amazing experience with the people of my country. I hope that I can assist to the better cooperation between China and Ghana. May the good friendship between China and Ghana continue forever.
