On August 13, under the coordination of press officers from the British Consulate General in Guangzhou, Home and Abroad junior reporters were granted to interview the 26th Universiade British delegation. Christine Lee Fatt 小记者用英语问Scott Richards ：“请问大运会英国代表团一共来了多少人？他们分别参加大运会哪些项目的比赛？”“此次英国代表团有221名运动员来参加大运会，人数创造了英国参加大运会以来的历史之最。运动员们来自英国的45所大学，他们将参加田径、游泳、体操、足球、篮球、羽毛球等１７个大项的比赛。”Scott Richards 告诉小记者。
Junior reporter Christine Lee Fatt asked Scott Richards in English: “How many people are there in the Universiade British delegation? What sports are they participating in?” Scott Richards said,“There are 221 athletes in the delegation. The number of participants is the greatest ever since Britain took part in Universiade. The athletes are from 45 universities in Britain. They will take part in track and field, swimming, gymnastics, soccer, basketball, badminton and 17 major competitions.”

Junior reporter Yan Qiaoyu asked, “It’s now less than a year to the 30th Olympic Games in UK. How’s the preparation work going?”Scott Richard answered cheerfully, “We are ready, and we are sending invitation to the world. Let’s get together in London a year later.”He also invited the junior reporters to interviews in London.

Junior reporters also communicated with the three British big brother and big sisters in presence about the questions they were concerned about.
