Since she begin her diplomatic career in 1982, she has been responsible for many government works related to economy, social development, environmental protection, resource and energy fields. After she became the Austrian Ambassador to China in January 2012, she travelled to many places in China to collect the information about China and Austria’s cooperative projects and discover the opportunities for both countries. She also made many friends in China. Because of her dedication and active promotion, the bilateral trading volume reached USD$7 billion level in 2014, increased by 4.5%. China has become the largest trading partner to Austria in Asia, the second largest sales market after the EU. Her great contributions improved China and Austria’s close cooperation in many aspects and different sectors.
